1929 Peerless coupe
- This car came out of a older gentleman's collection , we just got it in and still have to evaluate and detail it. Looks like a sound , no rust car that will drive fine. The interior looks like it's the original " velour " , with some wear on the edges. There is a backseat with on the driverside some type of built in chest which looks factory. The roof is old , cracked but no rips or tears anywhere. She looks solid and the doors close very nicely. Manifold is on passengers side and it's a 6 cyl. engine. Runningboards look good and so do the tires..Still trying to find comparables pricewise , but that seems tough..Not too many around ! Anyway , feel free to call for more info , thank you. UPDATE : O.k., we had the starter engine rebuilt , and got her started. She ran fine , but was leaking gas real bad , so we took the carb off , and worked on it. When done , we took her for a short spin around the parkinglot , and she drives fine. Washed the exterior as well while we were at it..This car is a "driver quality " car , a no.3 minus..It's presentable and enjoyable as is , if you're not too picky. No rust , solid car that seems to have original interior. Asking $15000. You get one of the 3 P's ( Packard , Pierce Arrow , Peerless ) for A Ford money ; not bad at all ! p.s., Thank you mr. Jeff Brown of the Peerless Motor Car Club , for sending me the postcard with i.d. data ; I'll find out the modelno. next..Interior pics coming soon..SOLD , SORRY ! THANK YOU RUSSEL IN OREGON !
