Vintage cars for sale

JUST ROLLED OUT OF THE TRAILER !! Here we have a nice factorybuilt Auburn Speedster Replica , built by Elegante , a very good manufacturer at the time. This Auburn was built in 1979 , and has some features that other Auburns from that era , like California Custom Coach don't have , like a very genuine looking dash , and hidden latches for the hood , floorshifter , genuine , correct looking wirwheels etc. She sports a Chevrolet 350 cu. V8 , with automatic trans , powerbrakes ( disc ) and steering. Although very low miles showing , she has been stored in a barn in Ohio for the last few years , and will need some recommisioning before being able to be driven and enjoyed again. The good part is , that she's affordable unlike many other Aburn Speedsters thesedays. If you've followed the market , you will have noticed the prices of these cars have climbed steadily , especially since the late 90's and in to the 2000's , when Speedster Motorcars out of Florida began making some fine examples of this timeless Gordon Buehrig design. That factory begun selling these for $85,000 new , and now they're up to $100K. All this has caused the older ones , built by several different factories , to go up in price. While only about 5 to 7 years ago you could aqquire a decent Speedster for only $25,000 , you now have to pay from $35,000 to $45000 for a car in similar condition and even more for a Glen Pray built car..Although this car is complete , she has been sitting and will need some work. The leather interior is in good shape , including the doorpanels , but the carpet needs to be replaced. Paint is older paint and has some minor cracks in it ,but presentable , and unless you want a show condition car , you can probably live with it.Some of the chrome needs to be redone , the wirewheels need to be repainted and the enginebay needs to be cleaned up , and most probably the gastank needs to be cleaned before you attempt to start the engine. According to previous owner , the car was parked because of a carburator problem and the engine itself is fine. The top has no rips I could see , but is old and should be replaced. However , as mentioned , she's all there , and ofcourse there's no rust on the fiberglass body. The under carriage is solid and has some surfacerust only. When we unloaded the car out of the trailer , I hit the brakes and she stopped fine , so I don't expect any stuck calipers etc. So , this will be a great opportunity for someone to perform an easy restauration and have a great car without having to spend too much money. If you cannot afford or don't want to pay topmoney for a Speedster that does'nt need anything , this is the perfect car for you ; spend a few grand and have a lot of money left on the table for you. If you have any questions , I'll be happy to answer them , but please CALL me at + 1 954 5250600 , since I'm on the road a lot trying to find cool cars like this ! Thanks for your time , don't wait too long , for she'll be gone ! TOO LATE ! SOLD !! BUT...HAVE ANOTHER ONE COMING IN SOON !
