Here we've got a very rare V12 Cadillac Fleetwood 5 passenger sedan. I believe it to be a series 85 car. A great , large , heavy metal important piece of history , ready to "restore while you drive ". A true barnfind that has already been gone thru mechanically ; the seller I traded with already spent a lot of money and time on her mechanics ( brakes . fuel lines etc. ) during the last few months and therefore she runs and drives , shifts and stops very nice ! Everything works ; the gauges , lights etc..Luckily I was able to snatch her from him before he decided to give her a quicky paintjob .. Yes, she does need paint , chrome and interior , they're all old , but she's a very SOLID car , no rust and all there ; definately worth doing ! Or enjoy and drive her as is , and freak out your friends and admirers in the " survivor class " at any carshows you bring her. However , that means you have to be a crazy like me , who enjoys originality like old smell and threads hanging from headliners , moth or mice holes etc.( SOMETHING has been eating the cloth int. and whatever it was , it took it's time and / or was very hungry ! ) Great car for a Museum too ! The word is ( but not documented yet , and I've had a Caddy enthousiast tell me Nimitz never had a Caddy as a staffcar )that this was Admiral Nimitz staffcar. There are some military style painted code letters on the firewall ; anybody outthere who knows what they mean ? At any rate , this IS a very rare V12 Cadillac , never abused and very worthy of a cosmetic resto. Doors close like a volt and do not hang at all. Tranny shifts beautiful and she stops great. NO RUST anywhere to be seen , and no signs of bondo anywhere ! Straght , straight car !
