JUST IN !!! A beautiful Auburn Speedster built by the famous Glenn Pray. This gentleman bought the name Auburn , Cord and Duesenberg in the 70's , and proceeded to build the most faithful reproduction of a Auburn. And , a qualityjob it is ! Unlike any other Auburn replica's from the era or brandnew. A real knock your socks off kind of car. No rattles or shakes ( I drove her over the railroadtracks ; my favorite " rattletest " and she passed with flying colours ! ) Beautiful running engine ( Ford 429 V8 ) HAD TO BE CAREFUL NOT TO BURN RUBBER TAKING OFF ; WHAT A LOT OF POWER ! Smooth shifting automatic trans , powersteering , even Airconditioning ! The exhaust pipes are functional on the car too ! Simply the best Auburn you can buy in a great colourcombo too ! Sure , she has some minor flaws in the paint , to be expected of a 32 year old car , maybe $500 to touch up , but overall condition is just great..I don't know the production no's of Glenn Pray Auburns , but it cannot be many , as in my whole career since the 70's , I've only owned maybe 5 or 6 of these beauties. Now , all other cars have gone up in price , and so have these..I used to be able to snatch one up maybe for let's say $25 - 30 K between 5 to 10 years ago ; no more ! I see them sell for lots more , and I end up paying lots more ! Still , compared to what I get for a Duesenberg II , my asking price of $ 52,500 is less than one third of that, and in todays market I feel it's very fair for what you get. A sound investment in a great looking , but also great DRIVING car..Hey , it's only $$$$ and you can't take it with you..I've never seen a Brinks moneytruck driving behind any funeralcar..It's always later than you think ; better do it now Sir !
