Wow ! Look at this baby ! Beautiful TRULY SUPERCHARGED 1937 Cord 812 Phaeton , built in 1981 by S.E. Replicars in Florida. LAST car built and one of only TWO supercharged cars built , with a total production of only SEVEN cars ever produced ! This car is so exact , you cannot tell the difference inside or outside. Even the dash and the electronic shifter resemble the original to the t. SUPERLOW 2300 MILESS showing and seller told me they are genuine , but Florida title states exempt for anything over 10 years. Powered by a supercharged Oldsmobile 350 cu. V8 , automatic trans ( frontwheel drive , just like the original ) and aided by power steering , brakes , windows and seats , she cruises effortless and even has Airconditioning thats hidden in the glove box areas. These cars sold new for like $69k , plus the $8 k supercharger option , back in 1981. That was a large sum of money even back then ! In the same ownership for over 20 some years , and it was finally time for the next enthusiastic new caretaker ( you ? ) The paint , the chrome and soft leather interior are all beautiful , just the carpet has some moth holes in it and the top is a little faded , but quite acceptable. Other than that , I'm not aware of any other flaws and so she's ready for you to be enjoyed .We just had a broken dipstick replaced and the oil changed so she's ready to roll ! I'm planning on taking her to the Auburn , Indiana ACD meet and auctions , so look for me driving her around over there.
